Photographs collected by Allison H. Dean, a real estate broker from Portland, Or., circa 1940-1959. Most of the photographs depict Portland residences handled by Dean, including the Jan De Graaf home at 1900 SW Palatine Hill Rd., designed by Van Evera Bailey. There are also some photographs of homes in Seaside and Newberg, Or., as well as aerial surveys of Portland from the 1940s, and photographs of the "Haul-a-way" home, a pre-fabricated residence created by Dean and built by Drake, Wyman, & Voss, Inc. of Portland.
